Difference: a shoes of without shoes, a question of culture and tradition

Here, in general, a lot dutch people have the expectation that you will take your shoes off every time when you get into a home, sometimes for a party….. this is very curious. They also have slippers to offer to their inviters. I have never to get used to this tradition, I still come inside and get an eyes and voice that cached my shoes and my foreign culture.
